Overhaul
Pada saat mesin mengalami kinerja yang kurang maksimal sehingga terjadi pemborosan pada bahan bakar sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya daya yang dihasilkan maka mesin dapat dipastikan untuk dilakukan penggantian beberapa suku cadang dikarenakan sudah aus akibat dari pemakaian :

1. Top Overhaul (TO)
Dilakukan service dan penggantian suku cadang pada bagian cylinder head dan komponen mesin lainnya yang sifatnya mendukung kinerja mesin, biasanya dilakukan service setelah mesin sudah beroperasi antara 2500 – 5000 jam atau dilihat dari kondisi mesin

2. Semi Overhaul (SO)
Dilakukan service dan penggantian suku cadang yang terdapat pada cylinder head sampai dengan penggantian piston assy, Liner dan con rod bearing bila diperlukan serta komponen mesin lainnya yang mendukung kinerja mesin, biasanya dilakukan service setelah mesin sudah beroperasi antara 5000 – 7500 jam atau dilihat dari kondisi mesin

3. General Overhaul (GO)
Dilakukan service dan penggantian seluruh suku cadang yang sudah mengalami kerusakan mulai dari penggantian suku cadang pada bagian cylinder head, Piston assy, liner, con rod bearing sampai dengan main bearing, serta komponen mesin lainnya yang mendukung kinerja mesin biasanya dilakukan service setelah mesin sudah beroperasi antara 7500 – 12.000 jam atau dilihat dari kondisi mesin
