  Compressor

  The Compressor increases the pressure of the refrigerant within the system for movement through the Condenser and Evaporator. It separates the low pressure as well as the high pressure side of the A/C System. To create high pressure, the Compressor utilizes either pistons or a scroll compression concept to draw refrigerant through a suction valve and force it out through the discharge valve.
