FMX-FN600 – Flomax Diesel Fuel Nozzle with Dog Latch & Auto Shut Off
FloMAX Fuel Nozzles connect to all standard fuel receivers. The FN600 fuel nozzle has latching dogs and the FNBL fuel nozzle uses a ball lock design. Both nozzles come with a ball bearing 1-1/2″ NPT swivel and a plug, specially designed to seal out dirt and contaminants, attached with a PVC-coated 1/4″ wire lanyard. A patent-pending removable piston assembly allows the cylinder to be easily removed for rebuilding. The standard shutoff pressure is set at 8.0PSI, however, FloMAX nozzles can be factory set from 5.5PSI shutoff to 13.0PSI as required. Both nozzles are 11″ in length, weight 6.6lbs & have a rated working pressure of 125PSI. All flow path o-rings are viton while the sealing gaskets are nitrile rubber. Wiggins parts crossover available upon request.
FloMAX Diesel Fuel Nozzles are designed for on-site, high flow refuelling of construction, mining, forestry, and agricultural equipment. They have a flow rate of up to 180 gallons per minute as compared to a conventional 1″ fuel nozzle of 60-70 GPM (Flomax nozzles are not ULC approved for applications requiring that certification, such as gasoline pumping in service stations). Most large equipment is designed to be refuelled from the bottom of the machine at ground level as the fuel tank is not always easily accesible – so the Flomax system incorporates a valved “quick connect” system for added safety while fuelling (fuel cannot flow without a proper connection, thereby preventing spills). The quick connect also prevents dirt, grime, or contamination from entering the system as compared to a plain open tube with a cap. The Flomax nozzles connect to all standard fuel receivers seen on most equipment. Wiggins & Caterpillar crossover available upon request.
