Based on the industry-standard ALTAIR Single-Gas Detector—but with added features and functionality—ALTAIR Pro toxic gas and oxygen detectors combine reliable detection and LED/audible/flashing/vibrating alarms with clear, backlit LCD displays. Electrochemical sensors measure concentrations of toxic gas (chlorine dioxide, hydrogen cyanide and phosphine) or percent oxygen. The Senscient ELDS laser-based open path gas detector is available for a wide range of toxic and flammable gases. The Senscient ELDS uses ‘SimuGas’ self-testing to eliminate employees entering hazardous areas for gas checks. The S4000CH Intelligent Sensor is a microprocessor-based transmitter designed for use with General Monitors industry-leading catalytic bead sensors. It features one person calibration and virtually self-calibrates by simply activating a magnetic switch and applying gas. It monitors combustible gases and vapors within the lower explosive limit (LEL) and provides status indication and alarm outputs. Complies with ANSI/ISA 12.13.01-2000 performance requirements for combustible gas detectors.

The IR400 Infrared (IR) Point Detector is a hydrocarbon gas detector that continuously monitors combustible gases and vapors within the lower explosive limit (LEL) and provides alarm indication. It features an industry-leading response time of ≤ 3 seconds, even with a splash guard installed. All electronics are contained within an explosion-proof housing so that the IR400’s detector information can be processed locally. Configurations with analog output, Modbus and HART are also available.

The TS4000H Intelligent Toxic Gas Detector continuously monitors a variety of toxic gases in the ppm range or oxygen deficiency, delivering highly accurate detection and protection. The IR5500 is an open path infrared (IR) gas detector that continuously monitors for flammable gas leaks over large open areas. It monitors in both the LEL-m and ppm-m ranges to detect both small and large leaks. The IR5500 offers the benefits of early detection with its high sensitivity to gas concentrations at the ppm levels.  This feature allows it to alarm faster than an LEL-only detector. Digital display and adjustable mounting arms ensure easy alignment. Factory calibrated for low-maintenance operation.

The S4000TH Intelligent Gas Sensor is a microprocessor-based transmitter designed for use with General Monitors’ thin film metal oxide semiconductor (TFMOS) sensors to detect H2S gas. The unit features one person calibration and can virtually self-calibrate by simply activating a magnetic switch and applying gas. It detects hydrogen sulfide in 0-20 ppm, 0-50 ppm or 0-100 parts per million (ppm) levels over a wide temperature range.

The TS4000H Intelligent Toxic Gas Detector continuously monitors hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in several ppm ranges, delivering highly accurate detection and protection. The IR700 Infrared (IR) Point Detector is a microprocessor-based carbon dioxide gas detector that continuously monitors for CO2 in ppm levels. All electronics are contained within an explosion-proof housing so that the IR700’s detector information can be processed locally. The IR700 operates with a 4-20 mA signal, which is proportional to 0 to 100% full scale. Configurations with analog output, Modbus and HART are available. Modbus and HART data can be used for predictive maintenance.

The Surveyor detects gas leaks by sensing the airborne ultrasound emitted from leaking gas at high pressure. Ultrasonic gas detection is based on robust and proven Gassonic technology and designed for long and failsafe operation in extreme environmental conditions. Because the Surveyor responds to the source of a gas release rather than the dispersed gas, it is unaffected by changing wind directions, gas dilution, and the direction of the gas leak.

The remote gas calibrator, RGC-IR, is designed to be permanently installed on a combustible IR gas detector. The RGC-IR provides protection from outside elements and allows the user to apply calibration gas (@ 50 psi) to the detector from a remote source.
